More ideas for Inbound Links

I previously talked about how to get inbound links to your site. Here are some additional ideas for getting inbound links to your site:

  • Yahoo Answers
Create a Yahoo Answers account and answer questions relating to your site’s niche. Try to answer around 5 questions every day with quality answers, and only post a link to your site about half of the time. This is a site where you will get banned if you appear to be spamming, so make sure to play nice and you’ll get some quality backlinks.

  • Ping Your Blog
Adding a blog to your site is a great way to add content, but you can also use it to generate a ton of search engine friendly backlinks. Grab Eliot C. Back’s list of ping sites and enter them into your blog software, so every new post is automatically pinged to each of them, which will result in at least one backlink per post per ping site!

  • Hubpages
Write quality articles and post them to Hubpages. Google loves Hubpages, so if your article features the right keywords and is well written (you don’t have to be perfect, just make sure to take a few minutes and write something decent), you should get a high ranking at Google and Yahoo. Be sure to link back to your site from each of your Hub page articles, but don’t spam, or you’ll get your articles flagged and removed.

  • Cross-link Your Sites
Think of this as your own mini link exchange. Only don’t link to every site from every other site, or you’ll end up being penalized for it. Instead only link to 2 or 3 other sites from each site, and make sure not to link two sites together. So as an example, if you had Site A, Site B, Site C… then you would link from Site A to Site B… from Site B to Site C… and from Site C to Site A…

  • USFreeAds
Create an account at USFreeAds. You have to subscribe and pay for this site, but it gets ranked very well at Google and Yahoo. Make sure to post one or more ads for your site each day. Since you pay a monthly subscription, take advantage and post as many ads as you can stand writing each day. Again, using the proper keywords can result in getting ranked highly on Google and Yahoo.

Well there you go… now you have even more ideas on how to get quality inbound links to your web site. Don’t forget that the easiest way to generate hundreds of inbound links is through directory submissions. I’m still offering this service to my readers at a discounted rate. These are great tips, and reminds me to be using USFreeads more as I just reopened my account there.
Also, will be ordering your site submission service soon too, sounds like a great deal.
