BANS Mod - Move Sitemap to Footer

Here’s an easy mod for Build a Niche Store 3.0 that removes the Sitemap link from the left or right navigation column, and places it in your footer instead:

1. Log into your admin area and go to the Content Pages tab.
2. Select Off beside your Sitemap.
3. Click on the Turn On/Off button.
4. Right-click the View link beside your Sitemap.
5. Choose Copy Shortcut.
6. Click on the Template tab.
7. Click on footer.php.
8. Change this code:
   Copyright © 2008 <a href=”<?php print URL_PATH.”/”;?>”> <?php print SITENAME.”";?></a>
9. To this instead:
   Copyright © 2008 <a href=”<?php print URL_PATH.”/”;?>”> <?php print SITENAME.”";?></a> - <a href=”paste-the-sitemap-link-here“>Sitemap</a>
10. Replace paste-the-sitemap-link-here with the link you copied in step #5 above.
11. Click Save.

Now you should still have an auto-updating Sitemap file, but the link will appear in your footer instead of your navigation column.
